Consumer Products, Germany. Seasonal key visuals — carried from the poster to the shelf to the feed.
Graphic Designer for DCPC (Disney Consumer Products)
Consumer Products · Germany
The only designer on the team. Every franchise, every surface.
Inside Disney Consumer Products in Germany, one person designed the season: the key visual, and everything it had to become — the retailer’s banner, the poster in the window, the column in the aisle, the booklet at the till, and the post on @disneydeutschland.
Every piece was made inside Disney’s global identity and each franchise’s licence rules, then bent to a German campaign, a German retailer and a German shelf. From concept to final artwork, every step.

The holiday campaign
One key visual. Every surface.
The holiday campaign began as a single image: a ribbon of light, six characters and one line — Freude schenken zum Fest. Scroll, and watch it become the season.

- The key visual: one ribbon of light, one line.
- Into the shop window: brandshop banners, every width a retailer asked for.
- Into a retailer’s feed: the LIBRO posts, one hero product each.
- Onto @disneydeutschland: the advent calendar, lit by the same ribbon.
The everyday campaign
Mehr Freude. Jeden Tag.
The everyday campaign runs the other way: daylight instead of night, a pastel ribbon instead of a golden one, and four franchises sharing one white shelf without one of them shouting over the others.
It had to hold at every size a retailer could ask for — a banner a metre wide, an upright for a web shop, and the booklets people take home.

Point of sale
In the aisle.
A cinema release needs to be in the shop before it is on the screen. The Vaiana 2 drop-and-pop column went out in German and French, a figure you walk around rather than a poster you walk past.
And the one that proves it left the file: the Lilo & Stitch column, photographed where it stood.

This is a small part of what was made. Most of the work for Disney Consumer Products is covered by non-disclosure agreements and by the licence terms the artwork was created under, so it cannot be published here. What is shown is what I am permitted to show; the rest can be talked through in person.
The only designer on Disney Consumer Products’ team in Germany: seasonal key visuals, the banners, displays and booklets they became in store, and the posts they became on @disneydeutschland — for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and Disney Princess.
