Huda Beauty × Bratz · a self-initiated 360° campaign
Welcome to Hollywood.

Hollywood’s newest star.
The girlz with a passion for glam.Watch the film · 36 sScene 01 · The pitch
Every Bratz girl dreamed of her close-up. This one gets Hollywood.
In 2026 the Bratz turn twenty-five. The girls who grew up with them are the women who buy Huda Beauty now — and Huda Kattan’s own story, from make-up artist to global brand, is the grown-up version of the Bratz fantasy. Two brands, one promise: be unapologetically glam.
Hollywood’s Newest Star follows one doll through one day, from golden hour under the sign to the premiere at night. Every scene carries one emotion and one hero product. She is not a mascot. She is the star — and the products are her co-stars.

Research
Start from the real codes.
Before any idea, an inventory: what each brand already owns, so the collaboration could borrow it instead of inventing around it.
From Huda Beauty
- The lowercase wordmark: bold “huda”, light “beauty”
- Faux Filler — the square, clear acrylic gloss
- Easy Bake — the 2024 jar, and its bakery naming
- Camera-ready glam, and a founder who started as a make-up artist
From Bratz
- The halo and stars above the logo
- “The girls with a passion for fashion”
- The Z — Bratz spell it their way
- Box art: every doll has her illustration first
Huda first. Bratz as the jewellery.

Scene 02 · The film
The film.
Thirty-six seconds, one night in Los Angeles. She arrives in a pink G-Class, sits down at the mirror and does her face with the collection — powder, gloss, the close-up — then walks out into the flashes.
- Length
- 36 s
- Format
- 16:9 · 1080p
- Shots
- Higgsfield — every shot from an approved keyframe
- Titles & end card
- Blender — typewriter title, credit billing, rose-gold chrome logo
- Edit
- Cut and finished by Ameer Al-Ayyash
- Music
- Bratz theme song × “Vogue” by Madonna — mashup by whateverdoja
The film · story ads
Four stories, one per shade.
The film cut down to the phone: 9:16, about ten seconds each. A hook line on a scene from the film, the product in use, then the packshot with its name and a line of its own.

The film · titles
Three titles, built in Blender.
The type in the film is not generated. The location title types itself; the credit bills her like a star; the end card is the wordmark cast in rose-gold chrome, with the Bratz halo crowning “huda”.
The film · cutting-room floor
The cutting-room floor.
Nothing was accepted without being watched frame by frame against the character sheet. These are four of the takes that did not make it — and the rule each one left behind.
Scene 03 · Casting
Stars aren’t born. They’re built.
Before a single frame, the star had to exist — as a drawing, a sheet, a mesh and a look. This is her, turning on the scroll: clay, wire, texture.

- 01ClayThe form alone, before a single material. Silhouette first: the head, the pin curl, the column of the dress.
- 02Wire200,000 faces, thinned out here so the structure can be read.
- 03TextureWarm-brown skin, satin, caramel-streaked hair — the same doll the campaign is built on.
Casting · the evolution
From a drawing to a star.
The same girl, seven times over. Each step answers one question before the next one is allowed to ask its own.

Casting · the look
Her look, locked.
One approved set of references, and nothing generated without them: the face from the front and the three-quarter, the hair from behind, the whole figure turning. Every keyframe was checked against it — the dress as closely as the face.

- Hair
- Dark waves with caramel streaks and a 1950s Hollywood pin curl
- Eyes
- A lilac wing, lashes fanned, the Bratz almond
- Lips
- A nude, glossy pout — Bratitude, before it had a name
- Dress
- Pink satin corset slip, a straight column, hem just above the ankle
- Jewellery
- Pearl hoops and rhinestone cuffs

Casting · the takes
Thirty-three heads before her face.
The first road was the long one. A head built from nothing in Blender and held against the Bratz references at every step: thirty-three blockouts, then seventeen passes on the eyes alone — lid line, liner, the fan of the lashes. Two more dolls came after it. None of them is in the film. All of them are why she looks right.

Casting · box art
Every Bratz has her box art. So does she.
The classic 2D Bratz language — bold ink, airbrushed shading, glossy lips — made for the collector’s side of the launch: stickers, merch, a filter.

Scene 04 · Wardrobe
Huda first. Bratz as the jewellery.
The collection keeps Huda Beauty’s own packs — the square Faux Filler gloss and the 2024 Easy Bake jar — and lets Bratz in only as ornament.
The halo and stars from the Bratz logo crown the “huda” of the wordmark. A rose-gold Bratz charm sits on the lid. The sifter becomes a lace of stars. Nothing else changes, and that is the point.

Faux Filler Extra Shine Lip Gloss
01Bratitude
Toffee Kiss · #D9887D
Bratz for attitude. The everyday nude with a stance — warm, sheer, glass-like. Her own lip colour.

Faux Filler Extra Shine Lip Gloss
02Pout Couture
Pink Champagne · #AE5668
Pout meets haute couture — passion for fashion, put on the lips. The rose for the red carpet.

Easy Bake Loose Powder
Angel Cake
Soft pink blur · #F5D2D6
Every Easy Bake shade is named after a bake. Angel cake is the lightest one — and it carries the halo in its name.

Easy Bake Loose Powder
Honey Bunz
Warm honey set · #E2AB7C
After Cinnamon Bun, with the Bratz Z. Warm, like her skin.
Wardrobe · colour
Colours sampled from her.
The pack does not get a palette of its own. It wears hers.

Wardrobe · 2D to 3D
Drawn flat. Built round.
Every surface began as a print file — measured, set and exported flat — and was then folded, wrapped and cast in 3D. Drag across to see one become the other.

Wardrobe · print
The artwork under the render.
What you read on a pack is type, not texture: print files at 40 px per millimetre, wrapped onto the 3D.

Wardrobe · props
Even the car has a name.
A California vanity plate for her pink G-Class, 305 × 152 mm: the script, the crowned wordmark, and the line the whole collection is named after.

Scene 05 · A day in the life
A day in the life of a star.

01 · 6:48 pm
Golden hour
Hollywood, meet your new star.

02 · 7:30 pm
Premiere
Now showing: Passion for Glam.

03 · 8:15 pm
Walk of Fame
Every star needs a signature.

04 · 9:00 pm
Dressing room
Bake it till you make it.

05 · 10:10 pm
Red carpet
Pout Couture, darling.

06 · 11:45 pm
Night drive
Main character energy.
Six scenes from golden hour to midnight. One emotion and one product each — so every post, poster and screen can stand alone, and the six together still tell one day.

Scene 06 · The feed
From plate to post.
Every post starts as a plate — the scene before a single word. Drag across each one to see what the post adds: the lockup, the line, the product names, the room the platform needs.

The feed · stories
Built for the thumb.
Stories and the reel are native 9:16, not crops, with the platform’s safe zones kept clear. Tap through them the way they would be seen.

Scene 07 · The city
Take the sign to the city.
The bulletins line the Sunset Strip, in sight of the real sign. Beauty titles carry the red-carpet pout, metro runs repeat the close-up, and mall screens show the wink.

The artwork

Scene 08 · The invitation
The kit is the invitation.
It lands before the reveal: the doll, the Faux Filler duo and both Easy Bake shades, wrapped like an invitation to a premiere. No product shot before launch day — only the question: who is Hollywood’s newest star?
Tap the card to turn it. The note is signed by the team. Nobody’s words are put in anyone else’s mouth.
The invitation · rollout
Tease. Premiere. Stay famous.
- 01Tease
A silhouette of the sign at dawn, the pin curl in shadow. The PR kits land with creators as an invitation to the premiere. No product yet — only the question.
- 02Premiere
The key visual reveal, the carousel and motion posters — a wink, a pout, a puff of powder — and the bulletins on the Sunset Strip. The core products on sale at launch.
- 03Stay famous
A “Bratz Your Glam” AR filter gives you the lilac wing and the pin curl. A creator series recreates each scene of the day; the 2D art becomes stickers and merch.
Activation
Your own star on the Walk of Fame.
A pop-up in the shape of a Walk-of-Fame star: step onto your star, get the Faux Filler pout, take the photo under a small HUDA BEAUTY sign. Every visitor leaves as the star of her own premiere.
What we would measure
| Goal | Signal |
|---|---|
| Awareness | Reach and earned media of the reveal |
| Desire | Waitlist sign-ups and sell-through at launch |
| Conversation | Filter uses, creator recreations, sentiment |
| Business | Faux Filler and Easy Bake sales against the core line; new customers |
Scene 09 · Behind the scenes
Three rounds to one star.
The finished campaign looks like it was always going to be this. It was the third attempt.
- Round 01
Cherry & leopard
The first mood: a black panther on cherry red, leopard, cherries and the eight-ball. A doll built in Blender and walked on a test clip — and set aside when the campaign turned towards glamour.
Set aside

- Round 02
Pink glamour
A pink doll, and a whole world built around her in Blender: stills, a cover, a pop-up with a two-metre heart mirror, a retail bay. The verdict: the hero too loud, the mirror everywhere — and the Hollywood of the idea missing.
Set aside

- Round 03
Hollywood’s newest star
A new character, found in a single keyframe that had been set aside as a mistake: the pin curl, the lilac wing, the satin corset. The real sign on the real hill, lettered HUDA BEAUTY. This one stayed.
Kept

Behind the scenes · the pipeline
Four tools, one hand.
Each tool did the thing it is best at, and nothing left one without being checked.
- 01Illustrator
Wordmark lockups, the halo, print artwork, dielines, the licence plate
- 02Blender
Products, cartons, the charm and the plate; the turntables; the three film titles
- 03Higgsfield
The character, the scenes, keyframes and every shot of the film
- 04Photoshop
